Southern Circuit -Tanzania
Here is southern circuit. Our lovely clients travel with us Happy Kilimanjaro Adventure to experience the attractions of Southern Tanzania. In general, Southern circuit is enriched with different forest species available from three major National parks, that are Katavi National Park, Mikumi National Park and Ruaha National Park.
Katavi National Park is found in Katavi Region, one of the key attractions of this park are large animals like Cape Buffaloes, Zebras, wildebeest, elephants, giraffes, hippopotami, and crocodiles. Furthermore is presence of carnivorous animals including cheetahs, wild dogs, hyenas, leopards and lions that can be seen roaming this park. Other animals are like Eland, reedbuck, impala, duikers, roan antelope, and sometime beautiful sable antelopes can be found in the Miombo woodland.
Mikumi National Park is found im Morogoro region, this park is home to animals like Hippo, zebra, giraffe, elephant, impala, lion, wildebeest, spotted hyena, and buffalo. Lastly is Ruaha National Park is the Tanzanian's second largest National Park most famous for its fascinating beauty, about 1,650 plant species, ancient baobab trees, large elephant and cape buffalo herds, greater and lesser kudu, sable and roan antelope.
Furthermore, large prides of Lions, Buffalo, giraffes, Hippo, Zebra, Leopards, Cheetahs, Impala, Bushbuck, hartebeest, gazelle, waterbuck, black-backed jackels, spotted hyenas, African wild dogs and over 450 bird species have been recorded here, includes; glossy ibis and hadada, fish eagle, kingfisher, goliath, night heron, Stilts, Storks, Scops pearl spotted owls, and the giant eagle. But also the park is inhabited by near all species of African Eagle including the martial, black, long crested, Snake and of course bateleur. Shrikes, weavers, blue waxbills, fire-finches, quelea and hornbills, pale-billed and van der Decken's are all found in the dry bush land.
