Western Circuit -Tanzania
In western Circuit here visit Kigoma where our clients shall enjoy and refresh from abundance of diverse forest species. Western Circuit is endowed two major National parks Gombe and Mahale with plenty of Chimpanzee families and many other species of primates. The Gombe streams main attraction is chimpanzee families and other species of primates inhabiting Gombe stream's tropical forest that includes beach comber, olive baboons, red colobus, red tailed monkeys, blue monkeys and vervet monkeys. The park is also a home to over 200 bird species, many species of snakes, bush pigs, occasional hippopotami and leopards.Visitor to the park can trek into the forest to view the Chimpanzees as well as swim and snorkel in lake Tanganyika with almost 100 kinds of colorful cichlid fish.
Another park Mahale is mainly famous to its abundance of over 500 different species of plants, Chimpanzees, white and black Colubus monkeys, the Sharp's grysbok, the brush tailed porcupine, the bush tailed mongoose, African wild dogs, lions, giraffes, elephants, sable antelopes, kudus, roan antelopes and buffaloes. The park also is a home of diverse bird species include giant king fisher, crested guinea fowl, Ross'sturaco, Bamboo warbler, Crowned eagle, palm-nut vulture, scaly francolin, and stuhlmann's starling. In general birdlife is plentiful year round, but the best time for birding is from November to April.
